Since 06 April 2016, it is a legal requirement for all dogs to be microchipped in England and this will likely soon be expanded to include all cats.
We strongly advise all pets be microchipped, even those that are kept indoors. If your pet gets lost or sadly taken without a microchip, it is very unlikely they will be found and returned to you safely.
The microchips are about the size of a long grain of rice and are inserted under the skin at the back of your pets scruff. Each microchip has a unique 15 digit number which once registered is kept on a secure national database. If your pet is found and scanned this number can be traced to you and so your beloved pet can be returned.

We can where necessary perform dental scale and polish procedures in house, and carry out any necessary tooth extractions to help restore your pet’s dental health.

We routinely perform surgical and chemical neutering including laparoscopic bitch speys. Female dogs can be neutered before their first season from 6 months of age or alternatively 3 months after a season. Early neutering of female dogs reduces the risk of mammary tumours and removes the risk of developing pyometra later in life.
