When requesting more medication or food please give us at least 24 hours notice. The main reason for this is to allow us time to check whether the item is in stock, if it isn’t we can order it to arrive the next day and dispense it.

In order for any prescription medicines to be dispensed by the practice, your pet must be deemed under our care. This means in general that the vet needs to have seen your pet in the past 3-12 months – how regular a particular animal is seen to allow repeat dispensing of drugs is dependent on the drug and the pet’s condition. This applies to all prescription medicines, including flea and worm treatments.
If you have any queries or concerns about your pet’s health, don’t hesitate to give us a call on 01483 610292.

Bespoke Anaesthesia
Bespoke Anaesthesia
Anaesthesia and sedation is essential to facilitate most procedures we need to perform on our veterinary patients. At The Guildford Vet, we recognise that every animal is an individual, with relatively unique needs for their personal anaesthesia or sedation plan. Therefore every patient we see has an anaesthesia or sedation plan that is tailored to them. This helps make our procedures as safe, and as pain and fear free as possible.

Dental Care
Dental Care
Dental health is often an overlooked issue in dog and cats. It is estimated that 85% of dogs and cats over the age of three years of age will have some degree of dental disease. Here at The Guildford Vet, we believe helping owners understand the impact dental health can have on your pet’s overall health is important. We can where necessary perform dental scale and polish procedures in house, and carry out any necessary tooth extractions to help restore your pet’s dental health.
